LUXEMBOURG - Flint Group announced publication of its first externally available sustainability report. The report provides comprehensive economic, social and environmental data that details the group’s performance over the last several years with regards to sustainability.

Since its formation in 2005, Flint Group has worked to deliver market-leading sustainable solutions and has adopted a unique approach to sustainability that is based on the organization’s own mission and guiding principles. This approach ensures alignment to business strategy and the company’s organizational goal of operating in a manner that maximizes product performance while minimizing any negative impact of its operations on the environment.

Publishing the sustainability report will allow the group to better capture and share results of key programs that help drive the sustainability agenda within the organization.

“The introduction of this first sustainability report is a key building block for the organization and one which will provide a source of constant evolution for us,” said Antoine Fady, CEO of Flint Group.

Fady pointed out that the company’s first sustainability report focuses on substance rather than style. He believes that the company’s current sustainability standing forms a starting point to move forward. The report will help position the company to meet its own goals and will help customers achieve their own sustainability goals.

Aligned to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, the report outlines the group’s performance in three key areas — social, economic and environment — detailing the way in which Flint Group has incorporated sustainable business practices into its daily activities. The report is intended to serve as a flagship document for stakeholders to help understand Flint Group’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
