ASHFORD, CT – YTI Inc. is celebrating the company's 30-year anniversary. In 1984, Yeagle Technology Inc., now called YTI Inc., was founded in northeastern Connecticut to provide field service on vacuum coating equipment for the optical and semiconductor industries. During the past 10 years, the company's services have expanded to include customization of existing vacuum systems and construction of new systems.

Owner and President Brian Savulis, who purchased the company in 2005, addressed employees to congratulate them on their important role in maintaining the company's industry reputation for excellence and thank them for their contributions to its growth in recent years.

"Your commitment to this company and to our customers is why we can celebrate 30 years today," he said. "I know that with the continued support of our dedicated staff and our friends in this community, we can look forward to more growth and success in our industry and for this region."
