ELLAVILLE, GA – TCI Powder Coatings announced two promotions of senior staff members and the hiring of one new employee in technical support. Steve Jones has been appointed to the new position of Director, National Markets, and Jeff Wilhelms has been named Director of Field Technical Support. Mike Webb has joined TCI as a Senior Technical Representative. 

In his new role, Jones will continue the company’s pursuit of key market segments and geographies and direct the programs supporting marketing and sales efforts throughout North America. These programs include marketing and branding, the TruCoater Network, website utilization, and architectural segment development. Jones comes to his position with 40 years in the coatings industry and extensive knowledge of powder coatings. He got his start in liquid coatings with Duron Paints, Gilman Paints and Jones Blair. His work in the past 14 years has been in powder coatings, both with DuPont and with TCI. 

As the new Director of Field Technical Support, Wilhelms is responsible for planning and directing TCI’s technical support to customers in the field and providing the support needed to demonstrate TCI products and solutions for potential customers. Wilhelms brings 26 years of experience in the coatings industry.

Webb brings 30 years of experience over a broad range of applications in the coatings industry to his new position. The additions of Wilhelms and Webb enhances TCI’s commitment to technical support for its customers.
