CWS Lackfabrik GmbH is a family owned company with around 250 employees. CWS has a powder coatings production site in Düren, Germany, and New York, United States, a solid resins production site in Düren, Germany, and a liquid resins production site in Düren and Hamburg, Germany.

Five teams have been established following a recent Discovery Day. AkzoNobel says this has now set in motion the next phase of its initiative, which was launched with 28 partners – including customers, suppliers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and academia – in May 2022.
