CHARLOTTE, NC — IGM Resins announced the appointment of Wilson Gu as Regional Vice President Asia and three internal promotions to newly created positions. Andrew Chambers was promoted to Global Vice President Photoinitiators and Pharmaceuticals, Frans de Wind to Commercial Manager EMEA and Remco Roest to Commercial Manager PharmaChem.

Gu joined IGM on September 1 with a strong background in managing chemical operations in Asia for General Electric, Ferro Corp. and most recently at BASF. In addition to managing the existing IGM businesses in Asia, Gu has responsibility for IGM’s recent acquisition of Insight High Technology (IHT).

Chambers is focused on the strategic development of IGM’s photoinitiator and pharmaceutical product portfolio to maximize the value offering to customers globally. Chambers previously served as Vice President EMEA.

Frans de Wind assumed responsibility for the commercial management of IGM’s EMEA business. De Wind, who served IGM Resins for 10 years as Sales Manager, took over from Andrew Chambers and reports to John Huiberts, President.

Roest joined IGM Resins in 2011 and has been successful in the Benelux market, as well as the PharmaChem business. Roest continues to serve the Benelux market for IGM Resins BV and is part of the EMEA sales team reporting to the new Commercial Manager, De Wind.
