CLEVELAND – Sherwin-Williams®, through its Product Finishes Division, announced the winners of its sixth annual ProVisions™ Vendor Awards during an appreciation program at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland on March 17.
Through the ProVisions program, OEMs and job shops have access to more than 10,000 of the supplies and equipment they use most, including test and safety equipment, abrasives and spray equipment.
The Vendor of the Year Award was given to Global Finishing Solutions and Touch-Up Solutions. Global Finishing Solutions, a provider of capital equipment solutions for the finishing industry, delivered excellent marketing and support, driving spray equipment sales through multiple Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes regional sales teams. Touch-Up Solutions, a supplier of wood touch-up products, was recognized for the third year in a row for providing exceptional marketing, sales and service support in driving wood product sales through both the Product Finishes Division’s direct sales channel and the AcromaPro wood finishing product distributor channel.
The Field Sales Support Award was given to Hi-Lite Solutions and Mirka Abrasives. Hi-Lite Solutions, an eco-friendly cleaning product manufacturer, assisted in generating business at several high-volume Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes customers. Mirka Abrasives, a supplier of coated, non-woven and specialty abrasives, was recognized for its excellent field sales and marketing support.
Fawcett Co. received the Facility Support Award. Fawcett Co., a mixing equipment manufacturer, was recognized for developing a product that reduces noise levels in Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes Facility Product Service Rooms across North America.
The Marketing Excellence Award was presented to Chemco Manufacturing, a manufacturer of filtration products. The company was recognized for developing a “Good, Better, Best” product program that differentiated Sherwin-Williams in the product finishing marketplace.
“Our award-winning vendors offer expertise and innovations that help our customers succeed,” said Bruce Irussi, Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes Division, Senior Vice President of Sales, North America. “They grew sales substantially within the ProVisions program in 2014 and provided the support needed to continue to expand our capabilities.”
