Air Products Exhibits Superwetting Surfactants and More
Air Products is showcasing innovative superwetting surfactants Dynol™ 960 and 980, as well as Airase® 4500 defoamer for indirect food contact compliance at Stand 4-339.
Dynol 960 and 980 organic and siloxane superwetting surfactants have been specifically designed to meet the growing need for high-performance waterborne coatings, inks and adhesives for low-energy surfaces. These products help to optimize formulation performance, minimize reformulation time and effort, keep formulation costs under control, and have less impact on the environment.
As a proprietary organic oil defoamer, Airase 4500 does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants, or alkyl phenol ethoxylates, making it suitable for a broad range of applications and compliant with European food contact regulations. It is designed to eliminate foam, pinholes and entrapped air in water-based inks, adhesives and coatings without generating surface defects.
The company’s Epoxy Additives team is presenting its latest innovations for flooring and protective coatings that meet existing and future trends and drivers in the market. The key focus areas for those innovations are sustainability, low emissions, fast return to service, robustness under varying conditions, improved productivity and service life extension.
