Emerald Performance Materials is featuring a wide range of products at Booth 622, including K-FLEX^® low-VOC coalescents, EPALLOY™/ HyPox™ epoxy resins, ERISYS™ reactive modifiers, Hypro™ RLP, OMICURE™ curatives, FOAM BLAST^® defoamers, Masil^® silicones, and Hilton Davis^® 0-VOC/EC dispersions.

Visitors to Emerald’s booth can learn more about recent developments for paints and coatings, including many expanding product lines. New K-FLEX dibenzoate blends maximize performance -such as scrub resistance and gloss -while helping formulators to lower VOC emissions to comply with increasing regulations. New Trans-Oxide^® and Lucida Colors^® dispersions maximize durability and longevity in paints, coatings and stains, while also permitting proper curing in UV and EC applications. New organo-modified silicone OMS technology helps address the most challenging foam control issues with today’s ultra-low-VOC products.

The specialty epoxy resins and reactive liquid polymer tougheners from Emerald’s CVC group are designed for high-performance coatings needs. For example, EPALLOY 7200 resin can be used in maintenance coatings that can be applied at low-temperature and sub-zero conditions. Other resins can be used in powder and pipe coatings for better toughness, low-temperature properties and resistance to cathodic disbondment, and in waterproof coatings and membranes, adhesives and sealants for outstanding hydrolytic stability.

Since the last Eastern Coatings Show, Emerald has also continued to make investments in increasing its pilot, R&D and manufacturing capabilities, while also increasing its global footprint with a growing worldwide network and global technical center.
