REO Co. Opens Southeast Texas Location
AMSTERDAM – AkzoNobel's distributor partner, REO Co., Tulsa, Oklahoma, has opened a new location in Beaumont, Texas. Serving refinery and chemical plant owners, fabricators, and paint contractors in the oil and gas and industrial markets throughout the gulf coast, REO exclusively offers product lines including Ceilcote®, Enviroline® and Chartek® from AkzoNobel's International® and Devoe® ranges of protective coatings and passive fire protection.
"I am very excited to open the new Texas location because it allows us to better meet the needs of customers in the Southeast with same-day delivery, in most cases. Our customers have come to expect great customer service and expert technical support, and this new location will definitely help us expand on that," said Chris O'Dell, REO Co. "With the help of my dad, Steve O'Dell, and his decades of protective coatings field expertise, our top priority is to provide the region with a full range of superior products — from primers to finish coats."
REO began serving the oil and gas market in Greater Tulsa, Oklahoma, with International brand products in 1999. Over the past 18 years, the company has grown to include the entire state of Oklahoma, before being purchased by O'Dell and his wife Traci in 2013. O'Dell has been with AkzoNobel since 2002 and is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector, Level III.
