STRATHORY, Ontario – The Sansin Corp. has released its new WoodForce weathering system with Intermix colors that allow for creative, customizable looks and effects.

The WoodForce Intermix system is based on Sansin’s established Precision Coat formula that has been used for 25 years around the world as the leading weathered wood protection solution for large commercial projects.

The system uses three products – Accel, Clear and Intermix with seven tints – to create an array of weathered looks and effects, all the while delivering exceptional water repellency and protection against UV, moisture, blackening, discoloration and wood rot.

With WoodForce, even new wood can be made to look weathered and aged without sacrificing the health of the wood. Unlike some accelerated weathering treatments, WoodForce doesn’t damage the wood fiber in the process of aging it.

Designers, architects and homeowners can utilize one or more of the WoodForce products for unique results. WoodForce Clear is a versatile wood coating that applies clear and aggressively protects against water and UV damage while allowing wood to weather naturally to a silvery gray color. Designed to be used in conjunction with WoodForce Clear, WoodForce Accel speeds up the effects of natural weathering while protecting wood. Using seven base colors, WoodForce Intermix is combined in various ratios to create 27 standard barn-board colors – or the user can create their own unique color. Intermix can be applied with a brush, rag or roller to achieve custom vintage effects. Each product is environmentally friendly, VOC-compliant, Red List/CARB compliant, breathable, easy to clean with soap and water, and extremely easy to maintain.

Sansin WoodForce is available in a retail formula at select Sansin dealers and is also available in the company’s Factory Finish line for pre-finishing and machine application.
