COLOGNE, Germany — Specialty chemicals provider Evonik, chemical distributor Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, and CheMondis, a leading B2B online marketplace for chemicals in Europe, announced a new cooperation agreement. Evonik’s portfolio for paints, coatings and printing inks of the Coating Additives business line is now available for online purchase on CheMondis.

Evonik and Biesterfeld are strategic partners in the coating additives segment and decided to jointly extend their portfolio on CheMondis as principal and distributor. CheMondis’ marketplace structure gives both parties the joint opportunity to establish an additional online channel supporting their existing distribution agreement. Depending on the customer’s location and requested volumes, the customer will be serviced by either Evonik directly or by its exclusive distributor Biesterfeld Spezialchemie.
