HATTIESBURG, MS — The University of Southern Mississippi is offering short courses at the 2022 Waterborne Symposium. The three short courses will provide an intensive look at the most challenging aspects in the coatings industry and will help to expand the knowledge of attendees. Short courses will be held prior to the 49th Annual International Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium in New Orleans. The courses will take place Feb. 20-22, 2022. 

"The Fundamentals of Coatings" course is a one-day add-on course that can be added to either of the two-day courses that are being offered. James Rawlings, Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi, will teach the course. "Reformulating to Waterborne Coatings" is a two-day course that will take place Feb. 21-22, 2022. It will be taught by Robson Storey, Bennett Distinguished Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi. "The Science of Formulating" course will also be offered Feb. 21-22, 2022. James Rawlings, Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi, will teach the course.
