Nouryon has opened a new office in Al Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, as part of its strategy to expand its operations in the Middle East. The office is located in the Al Abdulkarim Tower, the tallest commercial tower in the Eastern Province.
The new office will serve as a sales hub for Nouryon, with a focus on key end markets such as packaging, polymer specialties, building and construction, oilfield and personal care. The company’s decision to open the office is part of a broader effort to strengthen its customer service, logistics and supply chain capabilities in the region.
Nouryon’s Senior Vice President for Emerging Markets and China, Sobers Sethi, highlighted the company’s commitment to the Saudi Arabia market and the Middle East. “This strategic investment will support our customer service, logistics and supply chain capabilities, as well as our growth ambitions in the region,” Sethi said.
The company’s new office in Al Dhahran is also a reflection of its long-standing presence in Saudi Arabia. Nouryon has been operating in the country for more than 25 years and has a joint venture with the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Company. In 2021, the company established Nouryon Saudi Arabia for chemicals as a legal entity to further expand its operations.
Nouryon’s General Manager for Saudi Arabia, Ameer Al Majed, emphasized the company’s focus on customer centricity and providing tailored solutions. “By localizing our operations and getting closer to our customers, we are better positioned to understand and meet their needs,” Al Majed said.
The company’s new office in Al Dhahran is expected to play a key role in its growth and success in the Middle East.
