PPG announced it has partnered with electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors to create unique exterior color effects for the Lucid Air and Gravity luxury EV lines using PPG ANDARO® pigment nanodispersion technology.

The collaboration resulted in a custom palette including Zenith Red, Cosmos Silver, Quantum Grey, Stellar White and other shades inspired by California’s landscapes. The pigments were applied in both the basecoat and tinted clearcoat layers to enhance depth and visual impact. The advanced Andaro pigments increase chroma, clarity and color travel, with additional benefits in metallic and white finishes.
