Dunn-Edwards Unveils Its 2026 Color Trends Collection

Dunn-Edwards announced its 2026 Color Trends collection, featuring nine trending colors and eight notable neutrals inspired by hues found in nature. The palette balances warm and cool tones to evoke harmony, serenity, and subtle sophistication across interior and commercial design spaces.
Each year, the company’s color experts explore emerging influences in furnishings, architecture, and design to shape its annual forecast. For 2026, they identified a renewed preference for warmer, more grounded hues as consumers seek calm and comfort amid rapid technological change. The result is a shift from bold, high-contrast tones to softer, more nuanced color combinations.
The collection features key colors such as Country Air (DET581), Gothic Revival Green (DET507), and Purple Prose (DET405), all reflecting playful sophistication with a timeless, vintage aesthetic. “Historically, Dunn-Edwards has released an expansive palette for its annual Color Trends,” said Lauren Hoferkamp, color marketing manager at Dunn-Edwards. “This year, we’ve curated a more streamlined version designed to resonate with consumers and complement a wide range of design styles. By combining trending colors with notable neutrals, this collection offers both inspiration and practicality.”
The neutrals, including Fleur de Sel (DEGR55), Outer Boundary (DE6021), and Milk Glass (DEW358), provide warmth and subtle depth while grounding the bolder hues. Each tone is distinct enough to stand alone yet pairs seamlessly within the complete palette.
Designed for versatility, the 2026 Color Trends collection serves architects, designers, and homeowners alike, offering adaptable color options for residential, hospitality, healthcare, and workplace environments. The curated selection promotes cohesive, livable design through a modern lens of nature-inspired tranquility.
