Tectorius® introduced Tec-Kote™ 1010, a PFAS-compliant PTFE finish engineered for low friction, chemical resistance and long service in demanding environments. The solvent-based coating applies by spray, roll-coat, dip-spin or dip-drain and provides uniform coverage across a wide temperature range, with heat resistance up to 600 °F (315 °C). Designed for precision fasteners, automotive assemblies and select medical components, the coating adheres to most metals and supports process efficiency. Tec-Kote 1010 is compliant with EU Regulations 2020/784 and 2021/1297 on C9–C14 PFOA, offering a sustainable alternative to discontinued 1010-type fluoropolymer finishes.
