Florida Paints Reveals Its 2026 Colors of the Year

“This year’s colors tell a story of belonging,” said Santiago Quintero, Florida Paints color expert. “We found ourselves drawn to nostalgic hues that make a house feel like home. Grape Soda and White Pepper capture that story — bold and moody balanced with timeless and bright.”
Grape Soda is described as a deep, rich violet hue with both vintage and modern influence. The company said it reflects cozy, intimate spaces and pairs well with natural textures and muted finishes.

White Pepper is presented as a refined, warm neutral intended to bring brightness and soft sophistication to both interior and exterior spaces. Florida Paints noted that the shade works as a foundation color for walls or trim and complements natural materials.
Florida Paints formulations are designed for the climate conditions of the Southeast United States, including humidity, UV exposure and temperature swings. The company manufactures its interior and exterior paints, primers and specialty coatings locally.
Founded in 2012, Florida Paints is a family-owned paint manufacturer operating 28 retail stores across the state, supported by an independent dealer network. The company provides color, technical and professional services to contractors and homeowners. Through its “Paint a Brighter Day” program, Florida Paints donates paint to nonprofit and community organizations to support local renovation and improvement projects.
