PPG announced that its VISUALIZID software is now available for the Delfleet Evolution commercial vehicle coatings system in the United States and Canada. The expansion adds digital color-matching functionality to the Delfleet Evolution platform, supporting faster and more accurate color identification during commercial vehicle repair.

The Delfleet Evolution system offers single-stage and basecoat/clearcoat finishes and is designed to meet performance requirements for commercial vehicle manufacturers and heavy-duty repair operations. PPG stated that integrating VISUALIZID software into the system provides users with a digital alternative to physical color tools while supporting productivity and consistency.

“Adding PPG VisualizID software functionality to our PPG Delfleet Evolution coatings provides our commercial customers with an intuitive, digital solution that simplifies and accelerates the color identification and selection process,” said Miguel Martinez, director, commercial coatings, Automotive Refinish, PPG.

According to the company, VISUALIZID software allows users to view, compare and select color variants with greater accuracy and speed. The launch follows earlier introductions of the VISUALIZID system across other PPG coating platforms and reflects continued investment in digital tools within its Automotive Refinish business.

This development reflects broader advances in Automotive Coatings and the growing role of digital tools in commercial vehicle refinish operations.
