Surventis Expands Digital Color-Matching Platform

Surventis has introduced LightAssist, new functionality within its Refinity® digital platform designed to help automotive refinish painters evaluate difficult color matches.
LightAssist expands the visualization capabilities of ImagePLUS by making subtle differences in color, texture and effect easier to identify and compare on screen. Surventis says the functionality is particularly useful for black and dark effect colors, where differences in undertone, texture and effect can be difficult to assess through conventional digital visualization.
The company says the added visibility can help painters eliminate unsuitable match candidates earlier in the process and potentially reduce unnecessary spray-outs, material consumption and process time. Surventis describes the technology as a complement to painter expertise rather than a replacement for it.
LightAssist was introduced at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. Refinity is Surventis' cloud-based platform connecting color identification, retrieval and match evaluation with other products, services and body-shop business solutions.
