Coatings Trends & Technologies Summit will take place September 15–17, 2026, at The Westin Lombard in the Chicago area. Produced by Paint & Coatings Industry Magazine, the event brings together coatings chemists, formulators, R&D teams, and raw material and equipment suppliers to examine emerging technologies shaping liquid and powder coatings.

Alongside the new dates, the 2026 Call for Speakers is now open. The program committee is seeking presentations that highlight new or recently validated technologies, as well as innovative applications of existing approaches, that address real-world formulation, manufacturing, regulatory, and sustainability challenges facing coatings manufacturers.

Proposed topics span a wide range of technical and market-driven areas, including formulation guidelines, curing technologies, new resin and additive developments, powder coating technology, waterborne systems, low-VOC solutions, digitalization and artificial intelligence, smart coatings, corrosion control, UV/EB-curable coatings, and TiO₂ trends. University research, market outlooks, and applied R&D insights are also encouraged.

Presentations must remain technical in nature. Sales pitches and product-centric talks will not be considered, and tradenames or product identifiers are prohibited. All presentations are 30 minutes total, including Q&A. The submission deadline is April 10, 2026, with selected speakers notified in early May.
