The Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) announced that it is now accepting speaker abstracts for its 2026 Annual Technical Meeting and Conference, taking place June 7–10, 2026, at the Renaissance Asheville Downtown Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina.

Technical presentations will be held the mornings of June 8, 9, and 10. The conference provides a platform for professionals across the coatings industry to exchange technical information, explore new formulation methods, and discuss advances in coatings performance and functionality.

Abstract submissions must be completed online by January 5, 2026, at this link.

SSCT emphasizes that all presentations should focus on educational and technical content rather than promotional material. Presenters are encouraged to share data and insights that advance coatings science and formulation understanding while maintaining a professional, unbiased tone.

The annual meeting will feature technical sessions, networking opportunities, and industry discussions that support the SSCT’s mission to promote the advancement of coatings technology across the southeastern United States.
