Experts to Examine Role of Annual Color Forecasts in Strategy

Color Marketing Group and NIFT VisioNxt announced plans to host an international roundtable examining the structural impact of single annual color declarations on global markets.
The event, scheduled for April 15, 2026, will convene nine experts representing nine countries to discuss how color authority is constructed, amplified, commercialized and legitimized across industries.
Titled “Beyond the Annual Hue: Influence & Responsibility in Single-Color Authority,” the discussion will examine how annual color declarations influence product pipelines, marketing narratives and consumer expectations across sectors including interiors, fashion, automotive and consumer electronics.
Organizers said the roundtable will also address broader strategic questions emerging as regional cultural influences become more prominent in global design conversations.
Topics scheduled for discussion include the effect of annual color declarations on long-term brand differentiation, the influence of single-color models on regional traditions, the role of media in accelerating color adoption and the shift from color leadership announcements to research-based guidance.
The session will be moderated by Montaha Hidefi, president of Color Marketing Group (Canada), and Dr. Kaustav SenGupta, head of NIFT VisioNxt (India).
Participants will include Chris Lefteri (United Kingdom), Jo-Lynn Yap (Malaysia), Judith van Vliet (Spain), Markus Frentrop (Germany), Stacy Garcia (United States), Vicky Syriopoulou (Italy) and Yuan Tsai (Taiwan).
Registration is open globally to executives, strategists, designers and students.
