AMPP Adds New Technical Programming for 2026 Conference

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) announced new technical programming for the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2026, scheduled for March 15–19 in Houston, Texas.
The event brings together engineers, inspectors, contractors, asset owners and researchers focused on corrosion prevention and materials performance.
New technical sessions introduced for 2026 will examine topics including pipeline safety, carbon capture infrastructure, water treatment and desalination systems, workforce development and contractor engagement.
Among the sessions scheduled during the conference are:
Preventing Failures in Structural Concrete: Corrosion, Coatings and CP Pipeline Safety and Asset Integrity Management Corrosion Management: Water Treatment, Desalination, Transmission and Reuse Carbon Capture, Transportation and Utilization Storage Material Selection and Qualification in CCS Downhole Environment
Additional programming will focus on sectors including maritime and defense operations, energy production and transportation and civil infrastructure systems.
Maritime and defense sessions will feature perspectives from organizations including the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, NASA, the Department of Defense Corrosion Policy and Oversight Office, the American Bureau of Shipping and Seaspan.
Energy industry programming will include sessions on pipeline integrity, protective coatings technologies and materials performance in oil and gas production environments.
Civil infrastructure discussions will address bridge preservation, water and wastewater corrosion issues and coating failure analysis in transportation and public works systems.
The 2026 conference will also introduce new networking and engagement opportunities, including Coffee & Conversation sessions with AMPP leadership, a podcast booth on the exhibit floor and a discussion with Congressman Wesley Hunt.
The AMPP Annual Conference + Expo remains one of the largest global gatherings dedicated to corrosion prevention and materials protection.
