BASF Corporation increased selling prices for several acrylic monomers in North America, effective immediately, subject to individual customer contracts.
The company cited continued increases in raw material, energy and logistics costs as the reason for the adjustments.
The price increases include $0.12/lb for 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, methyl acrylate and ethyl acrylate. Glacial acrylic acid will increase by $0.09/lb.
BASF said customers should contact their account managers for additional information regarding the changes.
