The Annual International Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium will take place Feb. 7-12, 2027, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
For the first time in its 54-year history, the symposium will be held on the campus of The University of Southern Mississippi. The event will be hosted by the university’s School of Polymer Science and Engineering.
The symposium is an internationally recognized coatings event focused on waterborne, high-solids and powder coatings technologies. Organizers said the move to Hattiesburg brings the event to the home of its host institution and a center for polymer science research and academic-industry collaboration.
The School of Polymer Science and Engineering at The University of Southern Mississippi is recognized for polymer research, coatings technology and industry collaboration.
“Our students, your participation, a little southern charm, highly technical talks, and unique networking opportunities truly make the Waterborne Symposium a can't-miss, one-of-a-kind event,” said Waterborne Symposium chairmen James W. Rawlins, Derek L. Patton and Robson F. Storey.
