Ultimate Linings is a manufacturer of polyurea coatings and application technologies serving companies and OEMs in multiple industries. The company supports chemistry development, application testing, systems installation and in-field technical service for protective-coatings applications.
The company’s portfolio includes pure polyurea, hybrid polyurea, aliphatic and specialty polyurea systems, and polyaspartics. Its coatings are used for water tanks, marine and defense equipment, concrete infrastructure, roofing, automotive and commercial-vehicle bedliners, and other high-wear and high-impact applications.
Ultimate Linings is an IXS Coatings company. It serves customers worldwide from a 302,000-square-foot facility in Lebanon, Tennessee, which houses corporate offices, an innovation center and manufacturing operations. The company reports scalable production capacity exceeding 300 million pounds annually. The company’s current site identifies Rusty Carter as president and describes the Lebanon operation as its headquarters, R&D laboratory, manufacturing plant and distribution facility.

Notes: In July, Ultimate Linings hosted Galileo, a German science program, at its Tennessee facility for demonstrations examining the impact and abrasion resistance of its spray-applied polyurea systems. The program highlighted applications in transportation, construction, infrastructure, marine and defense markets.
