Epoxytec Puts $500 Prize Behind Summer Infrastructure Challenge

Epoxytec has opened its 2026 Summer Manhole Cover Challenge, inviting participants to photograph distinctive manhole covers encountered during work, travel or everyday activities.
To enter, participants must submit an original photo in which the manhole cover is clearly visible and their feet or a pet appear in the image. Entries are being accepted through July 31, and participants may submit more than one photo.
All participants will receive Epoxytec merchandise. An overall winner selected by a company judging panel based on creativity and uniqueness will receive a $500 cash prize.
The contest is intended to draw attention to the tunnels, pipes and collection systems beneath manhole covers that support municipal infrastructure. Epoxytec manufactures protective coatings used within these systems to help safeguard underlying structures.
Participants may also share behind-the-scenes images showing Epoxytec coatings protecting wastewater and other collection-system infrastructure.
