Oxea Raises European Oxo Intermediates Prices

Oxea announced price increases for several oxo intermediates effective Aug. 1, 2026, or as contracts allow. The company attributed the adjustments to higher raw-material, energy and supply-chain costs.
In Europe, prices will increase by €60 per metric ton for 2-ethylhexanol and n-/i-butanol, €40 per metric ton for n-/i-butyraldehyde and n-/i-butyl acetate and €50 per metric ton for molten and 90% slurry grades of neopentyl glycol.
For markets identified as Rest of World, Oxea announced increases of $70 per metric ton for 2-ethylhexanol and n-/i-butanol, $50 per metric ton for n-/i-butyraldehyde and $60 per metric ton for both neopentyl glycol grades.
The affected alcohols, acetates, aldehydes and polyols are part of raw-material supply chains serving coatings and printing-ink production.
