Oxea Raises Oxo Intermediates Prices in the Americas
Oxea announced price increases for oxo intermediates effective Aug. 1, 2026, or as contracts allow. The company cited increasing raw-material costs and current market conditions.
In North America and Mexico, n-propanol and n-propyl acetate will increase by 2 cents per pound. Prices will rise by 3 cents per pound for n-butyl acetate and isobutyl acetate and by 4 cents per pound for n-butanol and isobutanol.
In South America and markets identified as Rest of World, increases are $45 per metric ton for n-propanol and n-propyl acetate, $65 per metric ton for n-butyl acetate and isobutyl acetate and $90 per metric ton for isobutanol. N-butanol pricing is available by request for quotation.
The affected alcohols and acetates are among Oxea’s intermediates used in coatings and printing inks, making the adjustments relevant to solvent-cost monitoring.
