Univar Expands EMEA CASE Reach With Acquisition
Univar Solutions has acquired Interpur Chemicals, a European distributor of polyurethanes and powder coatings. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands the technical capabilities and regional coverage of the Performance Materials business within Ingredients + Specialties from Univar Solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Interpur Chemicals has more than 20 years of experience supplying raw materials and technical consulting services to the polyurethane, resin and powder coatings industries. Eighteen employees will join Univar Solutions through the transaction.
“This acquisition marks an important milestone for our performance materials business as we respond to growing customer demand for the essential products that enable modern, high-performance applications,” said Matthew Oliver, senior vice president of Performance Materials for Univar Solutions.
The acquisition expands Univar Solutions’ access to polyurethane and powder coatings materials while adding technical expertise and distribution coverage across EMEA.
