Surventis Adds Pretreatment and Anodizing Test Lines
Surventis has launched two pilot testing lines at its Blackman Township, Michigan, surface treatment facility. The lines expand the company’s North American testing capabilities through its Chemetall brand.
Dedicated to pretreatment and anodizing applications, the lines are designed to bridge laboratory development and production-scale implementation. Surventis teams and customers can use them to simulate application conditions, test full parts, evaluate performance and validate processes before full-scale operation.
“With the new installations, we can demonstrate our technologies live, work side by side with customers on real-world challenges, and turn those insights into solutions more quickly,” said Ryan Cull, head of operations, Surface Treatment North America.
Surventis said the lines will also allow customers to observe testing directly and evaluate how Chemetall technologies perform under conditions similar to those at their facilities.
Production-like testing can reduce scale-up risk for pretreatment and anodizing processes used to protect substrates, improve coating adhesion and support performance across industrial coatings applications.
