Haptic Coatings Portfolio Expands Tactile Options for Packaging

Stahl, a global provider of specialty coatings for flexible materials, has expanded its Sensora® portfolio of haptic coatings designed to create distinctive tactile packaging experiences.
Developed for paper and board, narrow-web and flexible packaging, the range is suitable for food and non-food applications including folding cartons, labels, flexible food packaging, cosmetics, technology products and luxury goods.
The portfolio includes water-based and energy-curable technologies that provide matte, soft-feel and other haptic finishes. Selected products offer food-contact compliance options including FDA, Swiss Ordinance, German Ink Ordinance, ISEGA and EuPIA requirements, according to the company.
Stahl will present the portfolio at LOUPE Americas 2026 at booth 727.
