HydroGraph Opens Texas Headquarters as Graphene Scale-Up Advances

HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. has opened its Texas headquarters and continues to advance a separate commercial manufacturing facility as part of its U.S. graphene production strategy.
The Austin headquarters serves as a graphene development and manufacturing hub and is designed to provide up to 30 tons per year of pristine graphene production capacity. The company said the site will support commercialization and customer engagement across industrial applications.
Separately, HydroGraph continues development of its commercial-scale manufacturing facility in Bellville, Texas. The company now expects that facility to begin operations in 2027, with planned phase-one capacity of 360 tons of graphene annually and future expansion capacity exceeding 750 tons per year.
That represents an updated timetable from HydroGraph's earlier Texas manufacturing plans. When PCI covered the project in May 2025, the company said the planned production site was expected to become operational in 2026.
HydroGraph's proprietary Hyperion Reactor™ technology uses a patented detonation synthesis process to convert hydrocarbon gases directly into synthetic graphene rather than relying on graphite as a starting material. The company says the modular manufacturing platform is designed to provide high purity, batch consistency and commercial scalability.
"The United States is seeing increasing investment in advanced materials manufacturing, and HydroGraph intends to be a leader in supplying the ultra-pure graphene that next-generation industries require," said Kjirstin Breure, president and CEO. "Our investment in Texas positions HydroGraph to meet growing demand while helping establish a secure domestic supply chain for advanced graphene materials."
HydroGraph has previously moved to develop graphene applications in coatings. Earlier this year, the company entered into a collaboration with Sparc Technologies to evaluate its graphene in additives for protective coatings, following initial corrosion testing in water-based systems.
