IMCD Names Walter Ripple to New U.S. Commercial Role
IMCD Group appointed Walter Ripple executive vice president, commercial, U.S., a newly created role focused on deepening supplier and customer relationships, driving portfolio excellence and accelerating organic growth.
Ripple joins IMCD from Avient Corp., where he spent more than 27 years in sales and senior leadership roles. His positions included vice president, sustainability; vice president and general manager of Global Elastomers; and vice president and general manager of Americas Specialty Engineered Materials.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Texas A&M University and an executive MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
“Walter Ripple is a strong addition to our team and his appointment reflects our ambition clearly,” said Vlad Miller, president of IMCD U.S. Miller said Ripple’s commercial depth and specialty-chemicals experience will support the company’s work with suppliers and customers.
