Birla Carbon Raises Asia Specialty Materials Prices Up to 15%

Birla Carbon has announced a price increase of up to 15% for its Specialty Materials products in Asia, effective Oct. 1, 2026.
The company attributed the adjustment to sustained feedstock costs as well as geopolitical instability and related supply disruptions.
Specific price changes will be communicated directly to customers.
Birla Carbon’s specialty carbon materials are used across coatings, inks, plastics, batteries and other formulated-material applications.
