600-Gallon ASME Pressure Vessel Supports High-Pressure Processing

ROSS Engineering has introduced a custom 600-gallon pressure vessel designed for high-pressure processing, storage and related industrial applications.
Fabricated from SA516 Grade 70 carbon steel, the vessel is rated for 300 psi at 200 °F and is designed, built and stamped to ASME Section VIII, Division 1. The cylindrical shell measures 4 ft in diameter by 6 ft seam to seam and incorporates 2:1 elliptical heads. The vessel is hydrotested before shipment to verify pressure integrity. A flanged head provides access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance. The design includes guide rods and a center-mounted lifting flange for servicing, along with multiple process and instrumentation connections. Interior surfaces are sandblasted, exterior welds are ground smooth and the vessel receives a primer coat before shipment. ROSS News Release September 202…
