ExxonMobil Raises Prices on Solvent and Hydrocarbon Fluids
ExxonMobil Product Solutions Co. will increase prices on a range of hydrocarbon and solvent fluids by up to $0.05 per pound effective Oct. 29, 2026, unless otherwise specified by contract.
The company communicated the pricing adjustment Oct. 22.
Products identified in the announcement include all Escaid fluids, all Exxsol D fluids, all Somentor fluids and all Varsol fluids.
The increase also covers CF247 fluids, Charcoal Lighter Fluids 105, Exx-Print 274A fluid, Exx-Print 283D fluid, ExxonMobil MEK and ExxonMobil SBA.
The announcement adds to a series of solvent and intermediate pricing actions moving through the coatings supply chain in late October and early November.
Hydrocarbon fluids and solvents are important formulation and processing materials for many coatings manufacturers. The adjustment adds another near-term input-cost change for companies following PCI's Price Alerts.
