Powder Applicator and Electrostatic Spray Gun Target Manual Finishing

Total Finishing introduced two manual application systems at FABTECH in Las Vegas, expanding its offerings for both powder and liquid finishing operations.
The Zeus powder coating applicator is built in Italy and offered in box-feed, hopper and gravity-cup configurations. The gravity-cup version is designed for laboratory work, small production runs and jobs that require frequent color changes.
An integrated touchscreen provides operating controls as well as access to the machine's spare-parts catalog. Operators can identify a component on screen, display a QR code and scan it to reach the corresponding part through Total Finishing's online supply operation.
The company's new A.S.P. Aqua Solvent Pod is a manual electrostatic spray gun designed to handle both water-based coatings and conductive solvent-based coatings. The system combines an isolated coating pod with pressurized gravity feed. Total Finishing says fine atomization and electrostatic transfer are intended to support uniform application while reducing overspray and coating waste.
The pod configuration also supports flushing, cleanup and color changes, with multiple nozzle options available for different applications. The company positions the A.S.P. as an entry point for shops adding electrostatic liquid application capability.
The two systems give finishers additional manual application options across liquid and powder operations, with an emphasis on material transfer, color changes and maintenance. Follow PCI's powder coating application coverage for more finishing-process technology.
