Bruce Andreoni has joined Fitz Chem Corp., Elmhurst, IL, as Inside Sales manager.

Kevin Biller, vice president-general manager of Jamestown Powder Coatings, has assumed responsibilities of "Joe Powder," an online program in which Biller offers his expertise in answering powder-coating questions from general powder users. The program is offered on the company's website, located at www.jamestownpowder.com.

Ultra Additives has announced the launch of an International Business team and has named Curtis Downs, vice president - International Business, to head the team. The company also named Sergio Gonzalez-Parga Latin America Sales manager and William Kolb International Account manager-Europe.

Thomas W. Gannon has joined Ferro Corp. as Corporate vice president and chief financial officer.

Don Hagge has joined Specialty Chemical Sales Inc. as Sales manager for the company's western region, with responsibility for sales in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, southern Illinois and Oklahoma.

Michael A. Hiatt has joined Boehle Chemicals Inc. as a Technical Sales representative, with responsibility for sales in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and western New York.

Michael Krauss has joined Solvay Solexis Inc. as Market Development specialist for Fluoropolymer Melts and Coatings, with responsibility for expansion of the company's powder-coatings fluoropolymers business.

Bayer AG has announced several key appointments related to the reorganization of the company's North American operations into five operating companies, which include Bayer Polymers L.L.C. Ian Paterson was named president and CEO of Bayer Polymers L.L.C. and head of Bayer Polymers' Americas Region, which includes Bayer's polymers business in North, Central and South America. Randall Dearth was named president and CEO of Bayer Chemicals Corp., with responsibility for the business's operations in the United States and Canada.

Carl Sullivan has joined Reichhold as Architectural Technology manager for the company's Global Coating and Performance Resins business. Sullivan was formerly Global Technical manager for Powder Intermediates at Bayer Corp.

Wacker Silicones has named Christoph von Plotho president of Wacker Specialties. He succeeds Albert Baehny, who recently left the company. Von Plotho was most recently vice president of Wacker Silicones' Performance Materials business unit.

Neville Chemical Co. has promoted Herb F. Waltenspiel and Robert D. Heck to the position of District Sales manager and Ralph L. Sortino to director-Graphic Arts Sales. Waltenspiel will manage sales in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and portions of Indiana and Michigan. Heck will manage sales activities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Western New York State, portions of Indiana, and eastern Canada. Sortino will manage Neville's sales activities involving ink and ink-related accounts.

Gary C. Warehime has joined Peninsula Polymers Inc. as president. Warehime was formerly Business Unit manager for Dianal America, a unit of Mitsubishi Chemicals that produces solid acrylics.

Ed Weinfurtner has joined Seegott Inc. as president and chief operating officer.
