PASADENA, CA — Ameron International Corp. has named Stephen F. Dickey president, Protective Coatings-USA/ Europe, for the company’s Coatings Group. He assumes overall management responsibility for Ameron’s worldwide protective coatings business, which operates manufacturing facilities in Little Rock, AR; Geldermalsen, The Netherlands; and Huthwaite, UK. The business also is involved in joint-venture companies in Saudi Arabia and Mexico, and has an extensive licensee network.
Dickey is a 19-year Ameron veteran, and was most recently vice president-Strategic Planning and Marketing for Coatings. He will be based at the company’s new worldwide Protective Coatings headquarters in Atlanta.
“Steve has made many important contributions during his career with Ameron Coatings, and is uniquely qualified to lead the business,” said James S. Marlen, the company’s chairman, president and CEO. “His experience base represents an excellent blend of marketing, strategy development and technology.”
Ameron is a major producer of high-performance coatings, fiberglass-composite piping, concrete and steel pipe systems, and specialized construction products.
