John Williams has received the Anti-Defamation League’s David H. Litter Humanitarian Award.

John Williams, executive vice president of Bayer Corp. and president of the company’s Coatings and Colorants Division, has received the Anti-Defamation League’s David H. Litter Humanitarian Award.

The award, presented annually for the past 50 years by the Anti-Defamation League’s Paints, Chemicals and Wallcovering Industries Division, recognizes “devoted leadership and service in preserving liberty, counteracting bigotry and advancing the cause of human rights.”

The league was founded in 1913 to prevent defamation of the Jewish people and “secure justice and fair treatment to all citizens alike.”
