ORLANDO, FL – With a common goal to improve the health and safety of central Florida’s workers by involving ergonomic concepts and programs, the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Central Florida Chapter and the Tampa Area Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have created an alliance. The alliance will be signed on Nov. 4, 2009, at the one-day Central Florida Ergonomics Professional Development Conference (PDC) to be held at the Orlando Repertory Theatre in Orlando, FL.

The alliance was formed to improve the health and safety of central Florida's workers by going above and beyond the OSHA general industry regulations and involving ergonomic concepts and programs. This is the first year the Central Florida chapter and the Tampa Area OSHA office will sign an alliance.
