WEST SIMSBURY, CT - Joseph Leon, President of Double Bond Chemical Industries USA Inc., announced that Double Bond will add the parent company’s additives products to its business mix.
Sales of Double Bond Chemical’s additive products in the United States will be handled exclusively by Brenntag Specialties Inc. of South Plainfield, NJ. In Canada, the exclusive distributor will be UNIPEX Group with headquarters in Montreal. Both of these firms will also stock Double Bond products.
The additives product line features antioxidants, heat stabilizers, light stabilizers, optical brighteners and UV absorbers.
Brenntag Specialties is a national market representative organization known for strong technical sales. Mike Leahey, Director of New Market Development, will head up the Brenntag effort for Double Bond USA.
UNIPEX Group is a global firm specializing in the manufacture and distribution of active ingredients, specialty and base chemicals for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, specialty and industrial chemical, and nutrition industries. Dave Saucier, Business Manager, will head up the UNIPEX effort for Double Bond USA.
Double Bond Chemical Industries Co. Ltd. is a global chemical producer with an R&D facility located in Junghe City, Taiwan. Key products are UV-cure raw materials and specialty additives for coatings and plastics. Double Bond Chemical Industries USA was incorporated in early 2010 as a subsidiary of Double Bond of Taiwan.
