Henkel Technologies (Madison Heights, MI) has been certified by DQS GmbH for the ISO/TS 16949:2002.

Diamond Vogel Paints (Orange City, IA) and Four Seasons Paint (Lincoln, NE) have announced that they have entered into an agreement in which Diamond Vogel will acquire Four Seasons Paint. Diamond Vogel says the acquisition will help the company expand its industrial coatings business and provide needed additional production capacity for Van Sickle Paint, a Vogel company in Lincoln.

Degussa's Coatings & Colorants Business Unit (Parsippany, NJ) announced a reorganization of its resin business line, an action the company says more closely aligns the product line with strategic market needs. The line has been divided into performance resins and polyesters.
