Sonic Air Systems, Inc., announces the introduction of the Sonic All-Environment (AE) Blower Enclosure™ designed to reduce noise exposure levels to below OSHA standard 26 CFR 1910.95(a), while helping extend the life of the blower/motor unit by providing protection in outdoor and industrial environments. This enclosure is adaptable to any vertical centrifugal blower with a 145T-284T motor frame for either NEMA or IEC configurations. It features external filters with change gauge, quick access maintenance panel door, and hinged with dual gas shocks to allow full access by one person.

The enclosure is made of a molded polyethylene cover and is designed with a double-wall foam filled construction to reduce the sound levels to as low as 75 dBA, depending on blower size and horsepower. The new design incorporates fully gasketed seams to ensure no water or contaminant intrusion for the toughest environments. The granite textured finish hides routine dust and dirt for better appearance, while the crowned roof shape prevents standing water. The company also offers Filter Weatherhoods, which allow for any outdoor or wash down environments, along with paper or polyester filter elements to accommodate quick change or wash down availability.

The enclosure is customizable by offering a powder painted or stainless steel base frame with multi-positional outlet options. The company can also supply customized colors or private labeling for OEM’s. Optional locking swivel casters are available for portable blowers when required. All models reportedly can be modified for super-quiet vacuum blower applications.
