OBERHAUSEN, Germany - Oxea will increase list and off-list prices on a number of products effective October 1, 2012, or as contracts allow.

In Europe, di-2-ethylhexylamine and mono-iso-propylamine will increase by EUR 100/mt, n-butylamine will increase by EUR 50/mt, di-n-butylamine will increase by EUR 60/mt, tri-n-butylamine will increase by EUR 70/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine will increase by EUR 80/mt, and n-octylamine will increase by EUR/150 mt. In Asia, di-2-ethylhexylamine and mono-iso-propylamine will increase by $130/mt, n-butylamine will increase by $70/mt, di-n-butylamine will increase by $80/mt, tri-n-butylamine will increase by $90/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine will increase by $100/mt, and n-octylamine will increase by $200/mt.

The company is increasing the price for polyols in Europe and North America. In Europe, trimethylolpropane and neopentylglycol will increase by EUR 150/mt. In North America, trimethylolpropane and neopentylglycol will increase by $0.03/lb.

Oxea is also increasing the price of propanol and propyl acetate in the Americas. In South and Central America, n propanol and n propyl acetate will increase $110/mt. In the United States, Canada and Mexico, n propanol will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.45/lb), and n propyl acetate will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.43/lb).
