NEW CANAAN, CT - Unimin Specialty Minerals Inc., New Canaan, CT, will raise prices for all MINEX, IMSIL, SNOBRITE and MINBLOC brand functional filler products effective February 1, 2014. Price increases will range from 3-6 percent depending on grade.

The increase is necessary to offset rising production costs and support necessary continuing investments in production and technical support.
