HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Eastern Coatings Federation Inc. is hosting the second Eastern Coatings Show at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ, from May 18-21, 2015. 

Dave White, the chair of the Technical Papers Committee, is urging industry professionals to consider presenting new technology in the coatings industry. Presentations should last from 20 to 30 minutes. Speaker slots will be arranged on a first-come, first-serve basis. The ECS Technical Committee will be responsible for coordinating the speakers and agenda.

The criteria for presentations will include an abstract of the presentation to be forwarded to Dave White by January 1, 2015, together with a biography and photo of the speaker. Submissions lacking any one of these elements will not receive consideration for a speaking slot.

Harley McNair of Pflaumer Brothers Inc. announced that the Pflaumer Honors for Innovation Awards will recognize two technical presentations that best foster industry innovation. The honorarium is $2,000 for the best paper and $1,000 for the runner up.

The show will open with a reception on the evening of May 18 followed by the presentation of technical papers on May 19, 20 and the morning of May 21. Show producers expect an attendance of over 1000.
