MINNETONKA, MN – Fenix Group has acquired substantially all the business assets of TCI Coatings (TCI), Lubbock, Texas, a leader of specialty and high-performance coatings for industrial applications. TCI serves Texas and surrounding states.

For over 60 years, Fenix brands have been leaders in specialty high-performance coatings and concrete and decorative solutions. The company has been focused on strategically acquiring premier brands to expand its manufacturing, sales and distribution footprint. CEO Ray Torres said, “TCI fits our strategic objective of acquiring strong brands, offering premium quality products, in areas where we are either not currently represented or are under-represented. TCI allows us to expand our manufacturing and warehousing footprint in a region we consider very attractive and augments our already strong product portfolio for the Industrial market and OEMs. We are extremely excited about TCI joining the Fenix family of brands.”
