AkzoNobel launched a hyperdurable powder coating designed to replicate the natural look and texture of stone for aluminum surfaces. The new product meets AAMA 2605 performance standards and offers a 30-year integrity and 20-year decorative warranty when applied by an approved applicator. The coating is free of VOCs, and overspray can be captured and reused. Backed by an Environmental Product Declaration, it supports sustainability efforts in architectural applications. This innovation builds on the company's previous stone effect finishes and offers architects and designers a durable, sustainable alternative to natural stone that reduces installation, maintenance, and material sourcing challenges.
